Words can not express the myriad of thoughts and emotions running through my heart and mind right now. This morning our church family took the entire morning to honour Naomi and I and celebrate our tenth anniversary as Lead Pastors.
Serving as pastors here has been, and continues to be, one of the great delights of our lives. We are surrounded by greatness and graciousness and were genuinely humbled by the kind words, and expressions of appreciation that we received. Walking alongside a company of people that are so desirous for the presence and purposes of God to be displayed in our land is such an incredible joy and privilege.
(Unfortunately the day was marred by some contraband photos of Naomi and I dating back over 20 years. I can't help but wonder why my friends from those days didn't ever stage a hair and eye glasses intervention.)
Thank you to all of you for opening your hearts and lives.

I think desirous is a good word, but I think delirious is better. Words cannot express the delirium one has when walking alongside Pastors who daily live out the presence of God! What a ride...and it is just getting started...
